Actuation

The TRW actuation range includes:

• master cylinders
• clutch cylinders
• slave cylinders
• concentric slave cylinders
• booster and pressure reducing valves

All castings are coated with Chrome 6 ‘free’ silver to ensure a high quality finish and appearance which also protects customers from potential European automotive legislation. Pistons are treated or anodised to improve strength and increase product durability, and TRW’s OE quality rubber components are used on all cylinders. Over 4000 parts numbers included in TRW’s hydraulics range provide 95% vehicle parc coverage.

As TRW is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hydraulic braking products it means that a large proportion of the range is genuine OE product. This gives the customer ‘like for like’ replacement parts.

Testing

TRW actuation products are tested to OE standards and all aluminium products conform to European standard 2000/53/CE. All products are 100% line tested to ensure the highest standards of quality.
