Brake Fluid

TRW offers a full range of DOT3, DOT4, DO 4 ESP, DO5.1 and Grand Prix Fluid for all makes of passenger car and LCV, under the TRW brand. This range is available in 250ml, 500ml, 1litre, 5 litre and 20 litre workshop size containers. TRW's packaging is high density quality to prevent moisture penetration and high-load bearing for safe transportation and storage. Heat-sealed caps ensure no contamination.

TRW brake fluids have been developed to maintain their high performance in use for as long as possible. For maximum safety and braking performance, TRW recommends that brake fluid is tested regularly and changed at least every 2 years.

Latest technology brake fluids contain a complex blend of advanced lubricants, stabilisers, antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors.

Very high performance Grand Prix Fluid which has been specially designed to give ultimate safety and reliability in the most extreme conditions. Grand Prix fluid’s dry boiling point is in excess of 300ºC which provides maximum vapour lock resistance for increased safety and high performance.

Higher level of performance in critical properties such as the brake fluid ‘Wet and Dry’ boiling point. This is an essential feature of TRW brake fluid as ‘vapour lock’ can occur if brake fluid boils which can cause brake failure.

Continuous research, testing and development means that TRW offers the very latest in brake fluid technology. TRW brake fluids contain a complex blend of advanced lubricants, stabilisers, antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors to help brakes perform at the optimum level. Our materials are rigorously tested to help minimise wear, maximise performance and ensure safe operation in ambient temperatures from -50ºC to +50ºC.

Hydraulic Mineral Oils

To complement the brake fluid range TRW has developed a hydraulic mineral oil designed specifically for vehicles with mineral braking systems or central hydraulic power systems. TRW hydraulic mineral oil is designed to allow installers to service niche vehicles.

Synthetic Steering and Suspension Fluid

TRW has launched synthetic steering and suspension fluid – a product for use in steering and suspension systems which can be used on vehicles such as the Citroen C5 and other vehicles for which the same product is specified.
