Manufacturing
TRW hoses are constructed using EPDM rubber and PVA braid, offering high dynamic strength and chemical & thermal resistance, with end connections made using a coated forged steel to protect from corrosion. A state of the art production process ensures a robust and enhanced product quality across the range and across the production batches.
Testing
Hoses are produced and tested to SAEJ1401 and FMVss 106 standards. Every hose is pressure tested for 2 minutes at 5000 psi to ensure there is no leakage. The following tests are also carried out:
Constriction
Volumetric Expansion and Burst Strength
Whip Resistance
Tensile Strength
Low Temperature Resistance
Brake Fluid Compatibility
End Fitting Corrosion Resistance
Ozone Resistance
