Drum brakes are a critical safety component. Around 80 per cent of a car’s total brake force is transmitted to the road by the front axle, but in critical brake situations, the rear axle contributes significantly to ensuring the optimum brake performance.

TRW Superkits provide the full solution. Containing all the necessary accessories – pre-assembled where possible – modern drum brake replacements is easier and safer than ever. And with all products manufactured in-house and 100 per cent end of line tested, TRW Superkits guarantee the finest quality.

All components are available in one box, with no need to re-use worn or rusty parts. This means just one reference to order all the necessary parts.

The Superkit offers up to a 50 per cent time saving as the pre-assembled unit can be mounted straight to the axle

Manufacturing & Testing

TRW Superkits are manufactured to TRW’s stringent OE specifications, so our OE knowledge helps us in our re-engineering processes and Superkit range extension. TRW has complete control of the Superkit production process with 100 per cent in-house manufacturing and assembly.

All Superkits are 100 per cent end of line tested and the comprehensive testing programme is documented, approved and guaranteed by a special hologram on each Superkit box.

All Superkits are delivered with the complete, tested adjuster unit.

TRW produces more than 3000 Superkits per day for the Independent aftermarket (IAM) and for the vehicle manufacturer service business. All components are stringently tested to TRW's OE equivalent standards - all brake shoes are R90 homologated where required, of course asbestos free, so all our Superkit components are clearly in accordance with the Environmental Management System 14001.
