TRW is a leading manufacturer of automotive safety products, developing and producing one of the largest ranges of active and passive safety technologies in the industry. Our active safety systems enhance vehicle control and help avoid collisions (such as foundation brakes, electronic stability control, steering systems) while our passive safety systems are designed to minimise injury in the event of an accident (airbags, seatbelt systems, and safety electronics).

In 2005, TRW launched its integrated safety concept – combining active and passive systems supported by TRW’s broad range of environmental sensors. By integrating safety technologies, TRW systems are able to offer enhanced functionality and further help prevent accidents / mitigate their effects.
