TRW Automotive Aftermarket offers an extensive portfolio of added value services in addition to premium product quality. TRW recognises the importance of combined support and service to benefit customers every step of the way.
Over the last two years, TRW has increased its focus on customer communications, maintaining a constant flow of information, training and technical support to customers at all levels.

TRW’s portfolio of added value services includes:
- TRW EOS (Electronic Ordering System): TRW’s online ordering portal “EOS” has recently launched a new online catalogue reinforcing four years of continuous development (www.trw-eos.com). Now featuring over 25,000 part numbers and more than 30,000 vehicle references, customers are able to access extensive information on vehicle parts that allow them to quickly and efficiently place orders.
- TRW Auto Service: In 2004, TRW introduced a modular garage concept providing a range of options that will enhance workshop presence, such as diagnostics, training, technical information, marketing support, and customer information – more information
- Exponentia: TRW is a proud partner of the Exponentia concept, a training initiative providing garages with a range of courses to help them stay informed of the latest automotive developments – more information
- Id – Internet Diagnostic: Id is a unique new concept in internet diagnostics from TRW. It is the first programme to harness the latest technology to provide reliable global diagnostics at a price that every garage in Europe can easily afford. – more information
- E-newsletter: This year, TRW introduced a monthly electronic newsletter to customers across Europe, informing them of company product information, technical and business news. – more information
- TRW “Journal”: The European roll-out of the Journal, TRW’s quarterly magazine, ensures that key customers are up to date with TRW’s activities, both on a global and regional basis. – more information
- Marketing materials: TRW continues to improve its suite of marketing materials to support its customers in marketing their products. In 2005, the company has introduced a fresh corporate identity to strengthen the image of the TRW brand.
- TecDoc: TRW is an accredited data supplier to TecDoc, the leading electronic catalogue for the entire automotive aftermarket industry. The TecDoc accreditation is only awarded to parts manufacturers whose data meets highly stringent assessment criteria. TRW was nominated a “certified supplier” for CD versions 1-2005 and 2-2005 of its data specifications on the TRW branded steering and suspension range and the Lucas branded brake range. – more information
- Catalogues: – TRW is committed to providing best in class catalogues to provide comprehensive, user-friendly information to save fitters and counter staff’ valuable time in product selection. – more information
- Chassis CD: TRW’s comprehensive chassis CD is an efficient purchasing guide, providing cross references and detailed drawings on all friction, steering and suspension and brake hydraulics product programs. The CD also includes TRW’s shock absorber programme for the first time. The CD is available in 23 languages – undoubtedly a mark of TRW’s global reach.
- VMI: (Vendor Management Inventory): VMI enables TRW to automatically generate a supply order for customers. The system helps to reduce stock levels, increase availability and sales.
